The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics benefits from a wide variety of laboratories:
last generation computers financed within the �PHARE� program of the European Union, Mathematics library with more than 6000 titles and study rooms. The students can use 10 informatics labs, 2 amphitheatres, 4 lecture rooms, 5 recitation rooms and 10 physics labs.
The sports grounds near lake Mamaia beautiful scenery allow for a pleasant pastime including yachting, tennis, football and many other sports. The Faculty of Mathematics offers continuing education programs and collaboration with Universities from abroad for those interested in pursuing a career in Mathematics or Computer Science. Several European Community programs like Socrates and Tempus offer support for student exchange with other European Universities. Our faculty also provides support for the professional re-conversion in areas like Enterprise Computer Management, Computers and Economics, Postgraduate didactic Informatics re-conversion, Statistics and Informatics, all these within the EIEA � European Institute of Enterprise Administration.
A limited number of scholarships are offered annually to the excellent students and those
who need support. Students also benefit from special prices at Constanta philharmonic, opera , theatre and they are also connected to the entire world by the world wide web.
