Admission 2007




The new criteria for the admission at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science (July session, 2007), in accordance with the European standards for undergraduate admission:
  • High school graduation, with high school Diploma/Certificate;
  • The examination grade (M) is calculated based only on the results obtained at high school and at the high school graduation exam, according to the formula:
    M = (2 N1 + 3 N2 + 5 N3)/10
    where
    • N1 = the average grade obtained at the high school graduation exam;
    • N2 = the mark obtained for the Mathematics (or, Informatics) exam at the high school graduation exam;
    • N3 = the average grade obtained in high school for Mathematics (or, Informatics).
The selection criteria for candidates on the last eligible place and having same average grade (M):
  1. The average grade obtained in high school for Mathematics (or, Informatics) (N3).
  2. The mark obtained for the Mathematics (or, Informatics) exam at the high school graduation exam (N2).
